Matthew is the interim chair of the newly formed Caerphilly Business Club. He has worked in the training and education sector for 20 years working in both the private and public sector.

Experienced Company Director with a demonstrated history of working in the design and marketing industry.

Chris has led Biotage’s main production site at Ystrad Mynach since 2007, through a period of unprecedented growth. He believes in staff development, empowerment and teamwork as the keys to success and is an advocate of lean manufacturing and automation.

In 2012 Mandy who has a degree in Business Management took the leap into entrepreneurship and set up Wize Consulting with her daughter and Welsh Ice in Caerphilly.

Chris ahas a wealth of experience within many sectors throughout his career. Provides support and guidance to businesses across Wales, from SME through to PLC companies.

Gerard has worked across a wide range of manufacturing, retail and financial services businesses. In 2000 he took a position as Operations Director and later as Managing Director of a spectacle lens manufacturing business near London.

Simon was invited onto Caerphilly Business Forum Board in June 2011. He now sits on the Board and is pleased to help make Caerphilly Business Club the pre-eminent Business Club in Caerphilly Borough and indeed South Wales.

Catherine recently joined the team as an Associate Solicitor returning to South Wales from a leading legal business in Bristol where she was a Principal Associate in the Employment department, with overall responsibility for around 34 staff members.

Rhiannon is an experienced National Account Manager working with Edu8 Training. She has a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry.
